This plant has a trunk that reaches two-thirds of the plant's total height. The plant's leaves are arranged vertically or obliquely and have a leathery texture. The buds of the flowers are encased in a cup-like structure.

Eucalyptus globulus oil is also referred to as Oleum Eucalypti, Eucalypti Aetheroleum, and Eucalypti Aetheroleum. Aromatherapists have used the oil to treat muscular pain and respiratory problems since ancient times.
Historically, Eucalyptus globulus oils have been used for their medicinal properties. It is a powerful analgesic and antiseptic.

It is used to treat upper respiratory inflammations due to its efficacy as a decongestant. Additionally, this is used to treat bronchitis because the oil penetrates the bronchioles and lungs and soothes chest infections and congestion when inhaled.
It is used topically to treat acne, joint pain, and muscle pain.

- As this is concentrated in nature, its direct application on the skin is not recommended. Instead, it should be first diluted with suitable carrier oil.
