Jojoba plants are members of the Simmondsiaceae family of the kingdom Plantae and typically reach a height of 1-2m. The leaves are oval-shaped, opposite, and range in length from 2-4cm. They are a grey-green color. Greenish-yellow flowers with no petals are small and greenish-yellow in color. Due to the fact that seeds do not mature at the same time, harvesting is done by hand.
